Love you to Pieces Craft

One of our Valentine's Day activities was to create a picture frame out of puzzle pieces. Well, the only puzzles I had that were small enough to make into a frame were my Melissa and Doug puzzles. Those puzzles are too expensive to turn into a frame, so we changed the activity a little bit. We took the outside edge pieces and traced them on construction paper.

 

Take a picture and place it on a piece of cardboard. After cutting the traced pieces, line them up on top of the picture and cardboard.  If you have to trim the picture, do so before you glue everything down.

Using a glue stick, glue the picture on the cardboard. Then glue each puzzle piece on top. We wrote on the pieces and placed stickers on them. 

Glue a magnet on the back so you can display your frame.
