My cousin was celebrating his 40th birthday today so we came up with this cake for him. He is a big sports fan so we incorporated the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and Michigan State Spartans into the cake.
I was just going to write on the top of it, but decided it was too plain with that. (And I had extra fondant, so I made a different cake topper.)
I colored the fondant and created this guy and the chair.
For a final touch, I created a tv out of fondant and wrote ESPN Top 40 on the tv screen. (The only problem was the frosting had left its color on the top even after I took it off. The chair covered up most of it though.)
