We are very excited for Happy Gilmore 2 to come out tomorrow. I made a cake to go with our Subway dinner party for tomorrow.

Christmas Present Cake
This cake is three layers of a small square cake. I just used mini cookie cutters to make the designs for the wrapping paper.
Christmas in July Party
We have been celebrating Christmas in July for at least a decade now. We go to Bronner's Christmas store every year and pick out a new ornament. This year I made a new cake.
The Great Gatsby Dinner Party
We had our Great Gatsby dinner party on the Summer Solstice. ("Do you always wait around for the longest day of the year and then miss it?")
We had lemons, limes, a full chicken, meat and cheese, fruit and vegetables, croissants, macaroons, mini cheesecake, lemon bread, and other desserts for tea.
I put some green lights under the champagne glass pyramid.

Hostess Cupcake Cookies
Ingredients:
1 chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup butter
2 1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 7 oz marshmallow cream
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream
Preheat the oven to 350. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the cake mix, eggs, and oil until a dough forms. Scoop on the baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking pan for about 5 minutes.
To make the frosting: Beat the butter until it is creamy. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Fold in the marshmallow cream. Set aside about 1/2 cup for the swirl on top.
Make the ganache. Pour the chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl. Put the cream on top of the chips. Heat in the microwave for 45 seconds. Let it sit for 1 minute and then whisk it until smooth. Let the ganache cool for about 10 minutes.
Spoon the cream on top of the cookie. Chill the cookies in the refrigerator.
Then put the ganache on top of the cream. Allow the ganache to set.
Put the remaining cream in a plastic bag and pipe on top of the cookie.
Unique Dance Recital Bouquets
I bought some plastic vases from Walmart and glued merchandise to kabob sticks and placed them in a foam piece that was in the plastic vase. I did a painting one that had some suncatchers, paint, brushes and the other one had some nail polish, playdough, and some other toys. My niece is a huge Jared Goff fan, so we put a football card of him in one of the bouquets.
These were a huge hit compared to the flower bouquets that most kids were receiving.
Kentucky Derby Dinner Party
We love having Kentucky Derby inspired food for the derby each year, complete with virgin mint juleps.
Butterfly Doughnuts
Cut the doughnuts in half and but them together with frosting. I put in Pocky sticks and added M&M to the end of the Pocky sticks and in the middle of the doughnuts.

Lego Display
We love doing Legos, so the shelf I ordered for my Christmas Village was turned into a year-round Lego display. I ordered it from Tribesigns.com.
12th Annual New Year's Eve Party
We love the New Year's Eve Party. These were the activities that I put in the balloons this year.
We started the day with some pancakes.
This is what the balloon display looked like.
We had a prize bunch box. I filled this with candy and lottery tickets.
We had a scavenger hunt.
The Chopped Challenge plates.
