When I saw that it cost $25 to buy an egg decorator, I decided to find a way to make my own. Using a Thames and Kosmos Remote Control Machines kit that we had, we made this egg decorator. This same idea would work with K'nex and/or Legos if you have the motors and gears. I used plastic eggs and hard boiled eggs on the device. We did have to adjust the wheels a little bit each time with the plastic eggs because they were so light, but it turned out really well and didn't cost me a dime to make!
