Corn Flake Wreaths

One of our Christmas activities was to make Corn Flake wreaths. They are made just like Rice Krispie treats, only with Corn Flakes. 

Ingredients:

1/3 cup butter

4 cups mini marshmallows

6 cups Corn Flakes

20 drops green food coloring

Red cinnamon candies

Start by melting the butter on medium heat in a large pot. Add the marshmallows. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat. Add the green food coloring. 

Then add the Corn Flakes and stir until all incorporated. 

I sprayed my cookie scoop with cooking spray and scooped the mixture out on wax paper. 

 I pressed each rounded scoop down with my fingers and added the cinnamon candies.
