These snowmen were a lot of fun for the boys to make, and they look really cute on the tree. We filled glass ornaments with styrofoam balls. (I bought a bag of them at Hobby Lobby.) I used a funnel to help with this process. We also used a pencil to help push the styrofoam down when it got plugged in the funnel.
Then I used a black paint pen to put on the eyes and mouth. I didn't have orange paint, so I used an orange sharpie for the nose.
Then I hot glued puff balls to half of a pipe cleaner. Finally, I hot glued the "ear muffs" to the glass bulb.
