Simple Mostaccioli

1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
3/4 cup mushrooms (optional)
1 lb penne pasta
2 cups mozzarella cheese
This recipe is very similar to my lasagna. I really like recipes that require a few ingredients and can be put together quickly.
Start by browning the hamburger. Drain the grease and add the spaghetti sauce.
Meanwhile boil water in a pot. Add the penne pasta (or rotini). Continue cooking pasta for about a minute under the recommended cook time.
If you want to add mushrooms, now is the time to add them to the sauce. Let them simmer with the sauce until the noodles are done.

Drain the pasta and place in a large baking pan. Add the sauce and mix together.

Top with the mozzarella cheese. Place in a 400 degree oven for about 25 minutes.
