Chocolate Maple Fudge

Ingredients:
2 cups milk chocolate chips
2 cups butterscotch chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
1 package (3 oz) butterscotch pudding--not instant
 2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
1 cup peanuts

(This recipe came from a family friend. It is one of my dad's favorite recipes.)

Melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter in the microwave. Spread half of the mixture in a 13X9 inch pan and chill until firm. (Only takes a couple of minutes.)

Meanwhile, cook evaporated milk, butter, and pudding until thick.
Then add powdered sugar and maple flavoring. Whisk together.
Next stir in the peanuts. Spread on top of chilled chocolate.  Let it set for a little bit. Then add the remaining chocolate/peanut butter mixture.  Place in the refrigerator or freezer until ready to serve.
