Maple Bun Candy

1 stick melted butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
about 2 Tablespoons maple flavoring
1 3/4 lb powdered sugar (just shy of a whole 2 lb bag)
Chocolate melting disks

Mix butter, condensed milk, maple, and powdered sugar. It will be creamy. Add peanuts. (It takes quite a few.) I just dump them in until the mixture is scoop-able. 

Scoop rounded teaspoons out on wax paper. Freeze them for a couple of hours. Then dip them in melted chocolate.  (If you don't have chocolate melting disks, you can melt chocolate chips with about a teaspoon of butter in the microwave. Stir after 30 second intervals.)
